Paul Blanton President and CEO
Paul is focused not only on the day-to-day operations at VEC but also on assuring that all VEC customers get the support they need for project success. In addition, he works side-by-side with customers to lead them through site evaluations and design recommendations and with the VEC team to support site surveys.
Paul’s specialty is in design consulting for new and existing facility construction. He uses advanced modeling and analytics to guide the advice VEC provides its customers and to develop remediation strategies that will ensure customer instruments meet operational requirements.
Paul has both a mechanical engineering degree and an MBA. In addition, he has over ten years of consulting experience at VEC and McKinsey & Company, where he focused on large project delivery and meeting both engineering and business requirements during this time. As further evidence that he is not afraid to take on a challenge or tackle a complex problem, Paul spent ten years in the United States Army, with eight of those years in Special Operations.
Phillip Macdonald Installation Engineer
Phillip is dedicated to the quality of our Spicer and Daeil System installations. He works with clients to coordinate, plan and execute smooth installations. With each client, he prioritizes customer preference and efficiency to maximize satisfaction and product performance.
Phillip received his mathematics degree from Winthrop University. He has over six years of warehousing and general tradesman experience and has instructed outdoor education at the university level. He utilizes these experiences to perform clean, efficient, and professional installations for each customer. He believes that people are what value most and strives to reflect that in each interaction. When working with Phillip, you can expect care, respect, and honesty coupled with an industry-leading installation.
Nikesh Pradhan Field Service Engineer
Nikesh is a detail-oriented field services engineer who provides on-site testing to measure and identify sources of vibration, magnetic field, or acoustic noise impacting your tool location. Nikesh works diligently to provide high-quality data and on-point recommendations based on VEC's experience and data collected.
Nikesh has a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, and worked as a Quality Engineer for two years before joining VEC. Nikesh dedicates himself to providing best-in-class service to VEC's customers and ensuring the customer is the number one priority.
Jarrett Johnston Field Service Engineer
Jarrett is a dynamic and dependable field service engineer who oversees the collection and analysis of vibration, acoustic and magnetic field data to produce detailed and accurate reporting. When working with Jarrett, expect to work with a professional dedicated to helping you identify and correct for environmental interference affecting your instrument location.
As a veteran electronic warfare specialist with the Navy and Air Force, Jarrett knows how best to protect your most critical assets in any environment. When working with Jarrett, you can expect best-in-class service and a dogged determination to meet your needs. In addition, Jarrett worked for three years at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center providing administrative and technical support for the maintenance and operations, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University.
Danielle Faraola Office Manager
Danielle keeps VEC running smoothly and makes certain that the administrative side of customer support proceeds accurately, promptly and professionally. Danielle handles office management, finance and accounting, vendor set-up, purchase orders, and notary services as required.
Danielle worked with the original Vibration Engineering Consultants and was asked to stay on after the company changed hands. Her practical experience and finance education extend back to her first job managing the cash office of a major drug store chain when she was only 16 years old. In college, she focused on finance coursework to gain the background needed to create her own consulting company. She has supported accounting, office operations, and human resources for numerous small businesses over the past 20+ years.
Craig Franklin Senior Microscopy Consultant
Craig has been a part of VEC since 1997, providing consulting, site surveys, problem-solving, and guidance to our diverse range of clients. He is a highly regarded expert for both resolving imaging issues in electron microscopes, and for troubleshooting Spicer Consulting Magnetic Field Cancellation system issues. Craig is our most experienced team member when it comes to remediation under unusually challenging conditions.
Craig repaired electron microscopes for Philips Electron Optics and Hitachi before joining VEC, so he has a deep understanding of the sources of interference that can compromise instrument performance. Craig is also retired from the United States Navy.
